Officials: Dirt bike rider killed after crash with FedEx van in Cleves

One person has died after a crash involving a dirt bike and a FedEx van in Cleves on Tuesday evening.

According to Hamilton County dispatchers, the first calls came in around 4:40 p.m. for reports of a crash involving a dirt bike and another vehicle on Timberline Court.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, a FedEx contract delivery van was traveling westbound on Mount Nebo Road and made a turn to go south on Timberline Court before striking a dirt bike traveling eastbound.

The operator of the dirt bike, a man, died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Officials said speed is being investigated as a factor in the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Traffic Safety at 513-825-1500.
