GasGas revamps MC-E 5 Electric youth dirt bike

Oct 29, 2024

GasGas has revealed its 2025 MC-E 5 dirt bike, now water-cooled and built around a new frame. The 2025 MC-E 5 features new bodywork, a new shock position and special graphics to indicate its battery-powered motor.

Water cooling on the MC-E 5 keeps the 5kW electric motor at a perfect temperature for consistent power. The dirt bike takes 45 minutes for an 80 percent recharge, or the battery can be easily exchanged for a fully charged one.

The new frame is designed specifically for the MC-E 5. The chassis is engineered with refined flex characteristics, resulting in a more stable and enjoyable riding experience for kids of all ages. The new frame also repositions the WP shock to improve performance, especially on the roughest of race tracks.

The MC-E 5 is a fully-fledged motocross bike, so the same bodywork that is on full-size models is fitted and scaled down to kid-friendly ergonomics. The MC-E 5 has new graphics with a splash of blue to indicate its electric drive and create a cool look.

The MC-E 5 can be ridden almost anywhere because it makes no noise. It offers six ride modes, so progression is controlled. The overall height can be adjusted so kids can ride the same bike as they build their skills and confidence. The MC-E 5 is also built with safety features and high-quality parts.
