Dirt bike taken in overnight burglary in northeast Berks

State police are investigating the nighttime theft of a small dirt bike from an unlocked garage of a Maxatawny Township home.

Someone entered the garage on Berry Circle on Tuesday between 1 and 4:30 a.m. and took the 50 cc mini dirt bike, troopers said, describing the crime as a burglary as well a motor-vehicle theft.
