Two arrested in theft of electric ATVs

DAVIDSON COUNTY – Two Lexington men have been accused of stealing two electric ATVs from a local dealership, and law enforcement officials indicate other arrests are pending.
According to the Davidson County Sheriff's Department, on March 14 Anglers Choice Marine on Old U.S. Highway 52 in Welcome reported the theft of two Electric Tracker Off-Road vehicles valued at about $15,000 each.
During the investigation by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, Steven Todd Browning, 52, and Jordan Morris, 36, both of Lexington were identified as suspects.
On April 20, Browning and Morris were arrested.
Browning was charged with felony larceny, felony second-degree trespass and felony obtaining property by false pretense.
Morris was charged with felony larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretense.
They are both scheduled for their first court appearance on May 30.
Representatives with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office said the investigation is continuing and other suspects have been identified.
